Health Clinics

Our aim is to keep our patients fit and healthy. Prevention is far better than cure and many serious conditions can be prevented by a healthy life style. Appointments for the following clinics can be made at reception

  • Family planning
  • Health Checks for 40-74 year olds
  • Minor surgery
  • New patient checks
  • Ante-natal care
  • Flu and Pneumonia

Other Services

Child Health

  • Child Immunisations Thursday 09:30 - 11:00

The Primary Care Trust will automatically send us the schedule of when your child is due their immunisations, we will then contact you to make the appointment to attend the child immunisation clinic. Please always bring with you, your child’s Red Record Book. If your child cannot attend their appointment lease let the surgery know as soon as possible so that the cancellation may be offered to another patient.

Family Planning

The doctors and nurses provide advice on family planning, including oral contraception, depot (injectable), implants, coils, contraceptive preparations and the fitting and checking of caps.

Cervical Smears

These are carried out by our specially trained practice nurses. You will receive written notification of your smear result, usually within 6 weeks of the test.

Travel Vaccinations

If you're planning to travel outside the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world.

Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges.
